Vidione began on 20 March 2018 when Mara Chen, a designer, and Jonas Reed, an engineer, set out to prove that making a great video should not demand a production crew, a six-figure budget, or three days of your life. Video became one of the strongest ways to grow a brand online, but the tools were complicated, expensive, and made for specialists. Most people were locked out—or forced to stitch together five different apps and hope for the best.
